Once you're in the graph editor and have selected the appropriate items and time interval, you’ll gain access to additional settings.
One of these is the "Axis Options". When you select this, several controls become available that allow you to customize how the axes are displayed. Below is an explanation of each option:
The first option allows you to view your data not per day or 5-minute intervals, but per week. The graph will calculate an average value for each week, based on all data points within that week. This can provide a clearer overview over longer periods, compared to viewing smaller, more detailed data points.
By default, the horizontal axis displays dates. If you prefer to work with week numbers, you can enable this by toggling the switch for “week numbers”. This will convert all date labels on the X-axis into week numbers.
By default, the X-axis displays time. However, you can choose any item from your dataset to be shown on the horizontal axis. This can be helpful for specific types of comparisons and is commonly used in graphs like the RTR chart.
Based on the items assigned to the left Y-axis, a default scale is automatically generated. If you find that this scale is too large or too small, you can adjust it manually. The “Scale Left Y-Axis” option allows you to define the minimum and maximum values for the left Y-axis.
Similarly, when items are assigned to the right Y-axis, a default scale is applied. If necessary, you can fine-tune this as well. With the “Scale Right Y-Axis” option, you can manually set the lower and upper limits for the right Y-axis.
