After purchasing the Gerbera registration module, it must be configured. Once this is done, the module will operate automatically.
There are two independent components that need to be configured:
- Linking data from the climate computer
- Entering lighting parameters
Linking Data from the Climate Computer
You can register data from your climate computer in LetsGrow.com. To do this, you must specify which data from your climate computer should be linked to which data fields in LetsGrow.com.
Entering Lighting Parameters
To calculate lighting and energy consumption, the module requires several values.
These are set as parameters and only need to be entered once (or when the installation changes).
During manual input, the parameter value is displayed, and the tooltip shows when it was last saved.
The Gerbera registration module can calculate the percentage of electrical power that is switched on.
To do this, the module retrieves current lighting data from the climate computer.
You must define the maximum level that can be used.
It also calculates the electricity consumption of the lighting based on the installed capacity.
Steps to Follow
- In the folder list (left side of the screen), locate the module “Gerbera registration.”
- Open the desired module.
- Select “data entry.”
Enter the value for “lighting max switched on” for the current day. If changes are needed later, enter the new value on the relevant date.
The program always uses the most recent available value.
The “lighting max switched on” must correspond to the “lighting switched on” value registered from the climate computer.
Note: Some systems do not register power but rather a status (e.g., 1 or 100 when on). In such cases, 1 or 100 is used as the maximum power.
Enter the “lighting power - kWh” value.
This indicates how much electricity the lighting consumes when fully switched on.
This is also a parameter. Using this value, along with surface area and lighting on %, the electricity consumption for lighting in kWh is calculated.
Explanation of Energy Consumption
Purchasing and selling electricity should preferably be entered separately, both as positive values. The balance will then be calculated.
If you choose to enter only the balance, do so under electricity purchase:
- A positive value will be treated as a purchase.
- A negative value will be treated as a sale.
Energy consumption by cultivation is determined from:
- Boiler gas
- 50% of CHP gas
- Electricity consumption for lighting
All registrations are converted to MJ.
