How to use Decision Support Irrigation
To start using Decision Support Irrigation, you only need to set a single parameter, which is your desired dryback target. To set this target, go to the module and select Data entry.
There you can input your desired target either in % or in kg. Note that in order to use %, a water content sensor needs to be present and similarly to use kg, a scale needs to be present. If both are present the scale measurement and kg target will be used, since it generally gives better performance.
It is also
possible to set an expected start time. As a default a start time of 1,5 hours
after sunrise will be used. If you want to use a custom start time, you can fill
this in here. Use the format as shown in the image. (900 for 09:00, 1000 for
10:00 etc.)
Once you put in your target for today, click the save button. It is not necessary to input your target daily. Every morning a check will be performed to see if a target was set yesterday. If there was a target yesterday, the same target will automatically be copied to today. Thus you only have to input a new target if you want to change the desired dryback.
