Modify time and date format
Explanation
A time and date format is used for various purposes. Think about:
- Export overviews are made in Ridder's climate computer (Hortimax) and then uploaded to the LetsGrow.com servers.
- When making the export graphs on the Synopta (the client of the climate computer) will be used the time and date format of the PC
In some cases the time and date format is not useful for our servers.
The most common formats that we can read are:
DD-MM-YYYY
MM/DD/YYYY
DD.MM.YYYY
Using a different format to display the day, month and year can cause problems when parsing the export tables.
To prevent this, it is necessary to change the format on the PC where the export overviews are created.
Manual
In the following instructions you can modify the time and date format.
- Click on the start button and type "time" in the search bar
- "Date and time settings" will appear as an option, click on it. You will then see the below screen.
- Then click on "country/region". You will see the below screen, click here on "change data format" (see blue outline)
- Here can be "the short date" modified, this is taken over by the climate computer.
Important
As long as Letsgrow.com uses the tables and data exports from the climate computer, the time setting may not be changed.
This can have consequences for the collection of the data.
